La Girolle

Like the two other family friendly cottages, La Girolle (85m2) is also arranged over the ground floor of the building, perfect for those parents with very young children or babies. This gîte can be rented with two-bedrooms & two-bathrooms or you invite the grandparents, who can stay in the adjoining annex (please see prices below for further information). For meals and precious family time together, everybody meets up on the large south-facing terrace, where I provide you with a Weber BBQ and sun loungers.

Bath, pool and tea towels as well as bed linen are also provided and included in the rental price. The bed linen is changed for a clean set at the end of each week.

The spacious master bedroom with its Super King size bed, beautiful antique wardrobe and chest of drawers, has its own recently renovated luxurious en-suite bathroom with double sink and a large rain shower (with additional hand shower attachment).

The children’s bedroom contains sturdy bunk beds (there is space for an additional toddler bed), a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Its bathroom has as well been renovated and features a freestanding bath plus wash basin and separate rain shower (with hand shower attachment). Either bedroom can accommodate a cot bed.

The annexe master bedroom with ensuite bathroom is attached to the main part of the gîte but has a separate entrance, without interior access, offering privacy and making it ideal for grandparents or the nanny to stay.

The kitchen/dining room of the gîte is fully equipped and very well stocked, with large fridge/freezer, oven, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave. I provide all the essential crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment you could possibly need including plastic cups, plates and cutlery for our little guests. The large sitting room is nicely furnished and here you will find UK satellite TV and a DVD player for your entertainment.

French doors from the master bedrooms, the kitchen/dining and living areas lead out to the large south-facing private terrace overlooking the woodland and meadow. La Girolle also benefits from its own fenced garden with sand & water play-table and other garden toys.

Booking Information:

Prices include: professionally laundered bed linen, large and small bath towels, bath mats, tea towels, pool towels, use of all facilities, basic cupboard and cleaning supplies, tourist tax, infant/toddler equipment, water, electricity, heating and gas.
Rates are per cottage, per week (from Saturday 4:00pm to Saturday 10:00am). Payment by Euro or Pound Sterling bank transfer. We are unable to accept credit cards.
A 25% deposit with a minimum of GBP/Euro 200 is payable on booking (we send you a booking form by e-mail). The balance together with a Euro/GBP 200 (300 in case of 3 or more bedrooms) breakages deposit is due 8 weeks before arrival.
To maintain a baby and toddler friendly environment in the swimming pool, playground and playroom we only accept bookings from families with four children if at least two of the children are 5 years old or younger. For families with three children, at least one would have to be 5 years or younger. The maximum age of any of the children staying with us is 12 years. Thank you for your understanding.
The cottages are non-smoking and unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets.
